London Meetings - Meeting Feb 07

Meeting will take place on Saturday 24th Feb. 2007

Venue: Duke of York, 35 New Cavendish Street, London W1G 9TR

Time: 09:45 for 10:00 start. Finishing around 12:30

To gain access, press the button on the white box by the side entrance in Westmoreland Street.

Iced water is provided and for anyone requiring tea/coffee/breakfast there are a few coffee bars close by along Marylebone High Street.

Tube stations: Bond Street, Oxford Circus about 10 mins walk and Marlebone Main Line Station 15 mins walk.

At our September 06  meeting we discussed and agreed that in future we will continue to go round the table with each member giving an account of their own activities/progress/goals etc but also devote a specific theme for general discussion. Members are invited to make suggestions via the members forum in advance of each meeting.

Update from last Meeting

At our last meeting in Jan we discussed the proposal from one of our members Bruce Bird to integrate a new Stephen Pierce's Smart Marketing Coaching Club (SMCC) London Mastermind Group with OMMG. The general consensus was that provided we maintain our own identity and are free to conduct our meetings in our own style the increase in attendance which this will hopefully bring to our meetings will be welcomed. If it is necessary for Bruce (leader of SMCC London Mastermind Group) to follow any specific agenda for his group then if that is considered to of benefit to OMMG members then that will be accommodated within the meeting agenda - if not (unlikely) then he will look at other ways of conveying that to his group either outside our main meeting on the day or at some other time. One new member from the SMCC attended the Jan meeting as a direct result of an announcement to the SMCC and it is anticipated that a meetup initiative set up by Bruce will bring in more participants over time. All new participants will be encouraged to register on the OMMG website and members forum.

Update 21 Feb

Theme for the meeting this month is Blogging and I am pleased to announce that we have a 'blogging professional' by the name of Glen Watson http://internetpro.meetup.com/11/members/3722657/ who has agreed to give a 10 min presentation to kick off the discussion.

Glen is one of 20 people who have joined the Stephen Pierce Smart Marketing Coaching Club via Bruce Bird's meetup initiative and the indications are we could be welcoming a few more of them at this meeting.
