London Meetings -
Meeting Jan 08
Overview from Bruce:
Excellent meeting.
Welcome to new members Gareth, Meg and Rita.
I believe we discovered some good synergies between Taroon (debt consolidation and already accomplished at PPC management) and Gareth (closed
loop finance for landlords) that they will be able to take advantage of.
Meg is a retired stockbroker with an ebook on learning to trade as well as having published it in hard copy as well. Lots of potential there when
we can help her get her website traffic and sales conversion moving.
I will also be looking at what I can do with Meg as I develop my financial trading niche. Meg's sites are at www.etradingdiscounts.com and www.teachmestockmarkettrading.com
Roger is busy developing his www.GuardianNetwork.com product.
Taroon www.tatstar.com Specialising in lead generation for debt consolidation services and
increasingly interested in PPC management. Great synergy with Gareth.
Rita is already running a Meetup group – Entrepreneurs Learning Series where she specialises in helping people with their business plans. It
looks like she is well on her way to being able to convert here Meetup learning series into a saleable product.
With Laurie, Gren and myself we had a total of 8 present.
Courtesy of Gren we have access to a webinar room which we now have functioning. As an important first step for many of the beginners is to get a
WP blog going we agreed to set up a webinar on blog creation that I will organise in the near future.
Everyone committed to having their blog up and running before the next meeting.
It was agreed that we would allocate time in the next meetings to critique each new members website and marketing strategy in order to provide
constructive input to their efforts. Depending on attendacne and time available would Meg, Gareth, Rita and Taroon all be ready for us to
critique their progress to date on 23 Feb
As we have lost the Foyle's internet connection we are looking at the cost of mobile broadband modem to share among attendees as we used to do
with room hire and there are some small subscription cost for the Meetup facility. We will therefore probably be looking at returning to a small
charge per head for future meetings.
